A Talent for Sin By Lavinia Kent

Info on the book: She was blessed with a gift of temptation.
Violet, Lady Carrington, possesses everything a spirited woman could want out of life. Money (and lots of it). The freedom to make her own choices, with no husband to rule her. And a delightfully attentive young lover, Lord Peter St. Johns, to satisfy her every wild whim. But Peter desires more than Violet's lascivious attentions. He's desperate for her heart—and her hand in marriage.

My Review:
This was a new author for me to read, also her first book. I read it and feel in love with the setting of the book, Violet was a very spirited women in this book for back in the day. It took a little time for me to get through this since I wasn't use to reading books from back in the time setting.

Give 10 *'s for first time author and book.

On Fire by Carla Neggers

Info on the book: When the owner of a sunken research ship is suspected of murdering his captain, his granddaughter asks one of his friends, an FBI special agent, to help clear his name. Riley and Straker are total opposites, but they share a determination to find the truth--and a passion they're finding harder to ignore.

My Review:
This book is beautiful written, you will not want to put this book down. Carla put strong women in this book! Loved the Family Ties/Strength in this one! :)

Would like to see an addition come out to this book.

10*s Way to go Carla!

Here Comes Trouble by Donna Kauffman

Info on the book: A child of Vegas, Brett Hennessey knows about luck - especially the bad kind. But when this poker superstar hops on his Harley to outrun Lady Misfortune and ends up at a pretty B&B run by an even prettier proprietor, he can't help thinking he's stumbled onto a winning streak...Sure, Kirby Farrell's new B&B ski lodge opened to the warmest winter in Vermont memory, but fate brought her a bad boy on a hot bike and settled him into her best room. She's still broke, but the view across the breakfast table has definitely improved...Only now Brett's past has finally caught up to him. He has two choices: run again - and lose the best hand fortune's dealt him yet. Or stay and risk everything for something he never thought would come his way.

My Review:
I loved this book, Donna brought alot of her old writing and mixed in her "new" writing style. If you aren't familiar with Donna's writing then this would be a great book to start with, you will get the feel of her writing and you will love to pick up another.

I would recommend this book with 10*'s
